China has become an increasingly popular tourist destination amongst Filipinos, with nearly half a million yearly visitors. That’s more than double the amount of Chinese who travel to the Philippines! One reason for such an influx of tourists is the abundance of low-cost flights to major cities in China. For example, Cebu Pacific airlines can take you from Manila to Beijing from as low as $2 per flight during it’s lowest seasonal promotions. While you could go and check out the modest but highly skilful performance of the Philippine Acrobatic Troupe, why not fly to Beijing instead. To see an exciting nightlife venue, known as “ Chaoyang Theatre ” which proudly presents the renowned Flying Acrobatic Show! 15 Minutes Stop at Coron Youth Club Beach (CYC Beach)

15 Minutes Stop at Coron Youth Club Beach (CYC Beach)

Coron’s CYC Beach is our first destination on our first day at Coron Palawan . I believe it’s the only island left in Coron that has no entrance fee, and that’s why the locals in Coron goes to this island if they just want to have a beach day and bond with their family, or just spend their time somewhere else. It’s included in one of the Coron tour package available and offered by travel agencies, so you may skip it if you want or just go there just to cross it out in your Coron islands visited lists. Please take note that we’ve only spend about 15 minutes in CYC Beach of Coron. I spent my time more on swimming rather than going around this small island, just to set myself in the waters and make myself get used with the waters since most or all tours in Coron includes water activities. But still, I feel like sharing with you my experience so I’ll be posting it here in this travel blog just in case you want a bit of sneak peak on what to expect with CYC Beach. We left Cor

Cokaliong vs. TransAsia – Cebu to Iloilo Via Boat

Cokaliong vs. TransAsia – Cebu to Iloilo Via Boat

I’m not really sure if we should say it’s via “boat” since a boat is the smaller one (as far as I know), you know the one you use for fishing. I think “ship” is the right term, but then everyone’s using the term “boat” so let’s use that term in the title. Anyway, last year I was able to go to Iloilo Philippines to verify a host for WithLocals. Now, my friends who knew about my trip wants to ask how to get to Iloilo via boat and what shipping line (see, ship!) they should go for. Well, for the foreigners, TransAsia has been around for years, even way back when I was young. We do use TransAsia for trips from Cagayan de Oro to Cebu when we wanted to have a vacation – since there’s no seat sale before in Airlines, or it’s a lot cheaper to just go for the ship. But, Cokaliong is not that new also they’ve been around for years too but I believe (if I am right) they showed up when I was in college, so that’s around 2008.  But that’s the only time I’ve noticed this shipping line (though i

Cruising On Dolin: It Is All About Experience

Cruising On Dolin: It Is All About Experience

Dolin is a standard gulet in Croatia this is the first impression what you get. But this impression will dramatically change during your cruise and in the end you will say what an experience. Let start from beginning, we came to Zadar port in the morning. It is a nice place typical Croatian view where you can see the sea, small hill and old chapel. Nothing special so far but I can still say it is cool. Then after we bough what we need to drink, because in Dolin you bring what you need for beverage, we boarded and after few minute the trip started. In the boat there are 3 men and the captain they were quite and a bit busy but also very friendly and even when they had hard work, they were smiling and nicely talking to anyone of us. Slowly we went through the golf of Zadar, and we started to see the open sea. Only blue that’s it this what anyone are looking for. The color was amazing sometime dark blue and then more lighter both color were amazing and so clean that you can s
