Sea Coral Lodge Coron Review – Your Affordable Accommodation Choice in Coron

June 7-9, 2015 – I was staying at Sea Coral Lodge in Coron Palawan with my fellow blogger friends. We stayed at Asia Grand View before that for 3 days and 2 nights too, and since we want to extend our stay in Coron to experience everything in Coron I decided to have an affordable or cheap accommodation for the next few nights so I’d be able to blog and share other options for those who wants to save more with their accommodation.

I contacted Sea Coral Lodge if they’re interested on being a sponsor a few nights stay, and they opened their rooms wide open for us. So, first off thank you Sea Coral Lodge for having us!

With this, I’d like to share with you my review of Sea Coral Lodge Coron for 3 days and 2 nights. As I have stated on my hotel review request page, I reserved the right and the freedom to share what I have experience, good or bad. But no worries, I was actually happy staying at this lodge in Coron.

Sea Coral Lodge in Coron has 3 standard rooms, 1 twin rooms, 2 triple rooms, and 1 family rooms available, and they gave us the triple room.

The Hotel Rooms

Though it’s a cheap accommodation, I didn’t expect it to be as nice as this. The room is fully air-conditioned, flat screen TV with cable, and clean sheets.

And I appreciate it too that they make an effort too on having these towels turn into something classy.

As you can see, their sheets are clean, their beds is not that thick but good enough that I slept well for 2 nights.

As you can see, the room can fit up to 3 people (obviously it's a triple room) but Channel and I slept in this room. I have the bigger bed, since I'm bigger and it was just enough for me. LOL.

I was not able to take pictures of the other rooms since they’re all occupied.

The Hotel Bathroom

For a Coron cheap accommodation, I’m also surprised that they have a heater available at the bathroom. They even have this kind of hanger (not sure what to call it) where you can hang your wet clothes, very nice idea!

The bathroom is a lot way better than the cheap accommodations that I’ve tried before. No weird smell too.

The Hotel Restaurant

I’m not sure if I should call it a restaurant. But you can also order a breakfast from them, they have a menu too for you to choose from.

We thought that their breakfast meal is a bit pricey that’s why Channel and I chose to walk and go to the market, and have our breakfast there and their meal prices is similar to Sea Coral Lodge price. So yeah, we regret it a bit.

So yes, sorry guys! No food ratings here since it's not included in the accommodation. But breakfast meals is around P100 to P120.

The Hotel Room Rates

Here are the 2015 room rates that I was provided. Please contact Sea Coral Lodge for an update price of their rooms.

Exotic Philippines Hotel Ratings

Sea Coral Lodge is ideal for backpackers or travelers who wants to save a lot of money. It’s easy to find, you have an easy access to everything, and the van (going to the airport) can easily just pick you up – they can also contact the van for you so they’ll pick you up at no additional charge.

Though it’s an affordable accommodation, it also offers a “grand view”. Check this out!

We also entrusted them with our bags (that has our gadgets) since we needed to leave, and the check in time is 1:00pm. So they offered that they’ll be the ones who’ll put our things on our room while we’re away having a tour in Coron. That was a total plus!

Another one is that, they have a wifi. Cheap accommodation, and free wifi? That’s another plus. It’s also fast, I was able to work at night and do what’s needed to be done for my clients.

As a Coron cheap accommodation, I’ll highly recommend Sea Coral Lodge. As a lodge, an affordable accommodation in Coron, Exotic Philippines would like to give Sea Coral Lodge a hotel rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars. Please note that I am rating them as a lodge not a grand hotel in Coron.
