I found this charming hotel, from the photos of it on their website plus the reviews, plus the pool, I loved it. So we go for it!
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and this hotel review is all about our stay for those days. Did we love it, did we enjoyed it, and a tour around the hotel so you’d be able to know what to expect from Ponte Fino Hotel in Batangas City.

Ponte Fino Hotel is in Batangas City, where in this two story building they have 60 deluxe rooms wherein 46 are premium rooms and 14 are suites decorated in classic Filipiniana. We got the premium room for 3 days and 2 nights, with twin beds.* Hotel with a Pool

The hotel also have a 25km swimming pool, their very own Robusta Restaurant and just beside it is a gym. They also have their function rooms ideal for events, and their huge ground near the pool is so ideal for weddings. I stayed on that ground for hours and I could totally imagine a wedding being held there, and checked it online and saw some beautiful photos where they have their wedding reception held at the hotel ground.
The Hotel Rooms
The premium room that we’ve got is a big room. You can actually add more beds in the room for more people. In it, there’s a safe box, cable TV, desk, and mini fridge.
I love the idea of having the sink outside the bathroom and in the walk in closet, it helped us do everything faster. The other one brushes the teeth while the other can take a bath or do his deed. I love the walk in closet too, giving us an area to open our luggage and not having it scattered all over our bedroom and a place to put our shoes at and hang our clothes.
Their bed is comfortable, with soft pillows, and I love the hotdog pillow – I used to sleep with a hotdog pillow before, since I do need a pillow for my legs and something to hug. And I was able to sleep like I was little in their bed.
The Hotel Bathroom
Their bathroom have the bath tub. I’ve never been to a room with a bath tub before but sadly I wasn’t able to chill there and try the life with a bath tub but still I was able to use it since the shower is also there.
Speaking of the shower, the shower has a hot and cold water, even the tub has one. You’re the one to adjust it, and make the temperature according to how you like it.
I also like the idea that the bathroom has a telephone near to toilet – just in case someone calls you and you’re doing your thing in the bathroom, you can still answer it.
The Hotel Restaurant
Robusta Restaurant is just right inside the hotel, you can see it when you enter the lobby of the hotel. They serve their buffet breakfast from 6am to 10am, but their restaurant is open till 11pm.
A lot of the locals also come there to dine, I guess their restaurant is also known and among the favorite of the locals other than being a hotel in Batangas City.
We were tired on our last night at the hotel, so we didn’t go out to try their restaurants. Here’s the dish I’ve tried and their blueberry cheesecake.
Exotic Philippines Hotel Ratings
We loved our stay at Ponte Fino Hotel in Batangas, we also enjoyed the Victorian themed residences that they have that’s so colorful. Plus, the pool is so huge and the water does not smell like chlorine – which at times I get itchy.
All in all, with the lovely and friendly staff plus the accommodation that they provided, I’d give them 4 out 5 stars. I would’ve given them 4.5 if they’re able to use a WiFi router that has a longer range or use a WiFi repeater that would totally be it. The wired internet is okay, but there’s two (2) of us that needs to use the internet. But other than that we didn’t have any problems or unhappy with. Their staff was very helpful in getting around Batangas.

All in all Batangas city does not have much of a tourist spot but it’s a neighbor to some places in Batangas province that may interest you. But if you’re looking for a place to just stay at Batangas City, Ponte Fino Hotel is a great place to just to relax and have some staycation.
