Bulog Dos Island - Coron Palawan’s The Sand Bar

Bulog Dos Island is an island in Coron Palawan that is about 1.5 to 2 hours boat travel from the Coron Town. It’s a neighboring island wherein the Two Seasons Boracay is located, it’s just near to Two Seasons that you can see clearly the resort from the island. It is also said that it is actually nearer to Culion Island than Coron.

I actually thought that we’ll be just passing by to this island since it’s small that some may feel that just by looking at it is just enough. Our guide, Ryan said that we’ll actually drop by there and let us check it out for ourselves.

We spent about 30 minutes at Bulog Dos Island to take some pictures, go around, and swim. It was quick but just enough time to do that in a very small island.

(She's actually getting the trash)

No worries, there’s a reason for this. There’s not much to do or see there, it’s best to spend your time on the other islands that you’d wish you have more time to stay at just like us.

Don't forget to take selfies though! It's really a great place to at least get some photoshoot but then I'm not a model so selfie is just enough for me.

Your kid will also enjoy the island as Lia did. She loves the sand, the beach, and it's not rocky, it's all sand, and the water is clear.

I know, the photos are not enough here but again, spend more time on the next islands especially in Banana Island and Malcapuya Island of Coron since they have a lot of corals there, and more corals means more fishes.

TIP: Arrive before or around 12nn at Banana Island in Coron since the fish seems to take lunch around that time too and there are a lot of big fish goes to the corals to eat and you get this amazing view – which I missed because I was hungry but my friend Channel did swim and enjoyed the view while the fishes eat.

With this, I'd like to thank Blue Lagoon Adventure Travel and Tours for taking us to Bulog Dos Island and Ryan our guide.
