We were lucky to have Northern Hope Tours again to have and tour us around and bring us to Honda Bay. We were picked up at our hotel in Panja Resort that day at around 9:00 am and then our next stop was a place where we can rent stuff - snorkels, towels, etc.
After we hop on the boat the guide did have a number of reminders for us and awesome informations, and as we leave the port we did see the sunken ship of Vietnam - which was there for years by the way.
We visited 3 islands that day, I’m not sure if it will always be the same island since I did see other boats going to other islands but there are more than 3 islands there in the Honda Bay area. We visited the following islands:
Starfish Island
LuLi Island
Cowrie Island

I can see that it might have been really beautiful way back years ago, but due to tourists and weather maybe, the place is not that as beautiful before. Even under, some corals are not that great, and you can actually see a more beautiful snorkeling spots in El Nido or Coron Palawan - which are the most famous spots in Palawan and I love them both. I’m actually planning to go back again.
The Honda Bay tour in Puerto Princesa is for P 1,300 per person. Hotel pick up, buffet lunch, drinks, boat, guide, and other fees are included.
But, if you ask me if I’d recommend it? I mean, why not just go there right? If you’re in Puerto Princesa and love the beach, love to swim then why not just experience this for yourself.
