I was so happy that they did because I know that one of the questions I’ll get from you guys. It would be if there’s any resort in Puerto Princesa city Palawan Philippines that is on a beach and have a swimming pool, that is not that far away from the city. And having some activities in the resort will totally be a plus! My answer will be this resort!
Blue Palawan Beach Club
The Blue Palawan Beach Club and resort is located along the coastline and is on the beach. They do have a huge swimming pool and you’ll be sleeping on their villas, that when you go out there are these sands that welcomes you.

The sunrise is precious at the resort, I actually woke up early to catch a time lapse of the sunrise and of course enjoy it while laying down at the hammock. * On the beach

The place is quiet, for those who can’t sleep with the busy city noise. Although, Puerto Princesa is a city, it is still like a town.
If you just want to stay at the resort, there’s no problem, they have their own restaurant and I’ve heard that they have a specialty of the house. Sadly, with the time I have left at the resort I wasn’t able to check it out and even the activities that I’d love to check out though that was the plan on our last day. But we did have a great offer from them though, that we couldn’t resist!
Here are some of the activities you can do though in the resort:
- Kayaking
- Paddle Boarding
- Kiteboarding
If you’re with a kid and want to know about the beach, well no worries. The water at the beach does not go higher than your knees. It was also low tide that day and if you’ll watch the video below you’ll be able to see the long and wide stretch of low tide. So totally safe for kids!
I’ll be talking in detail about the resort below but if you’re like me who appreciate videos more than just sharing details and photos, I was able to shoot a vlog to tour you around our room – though I did plan to tour you around the resort. If you didn’t noticed, I wasn’t able to really end the vlog because I did plan to tour you around in the resort, try their activities, but we’re unable to.
The Hotel Rooms
I thought they don’t have twin beds room available because what I saw online are all queen sized bed. And since I’m with Channel and I pity her when we sleep in one bed – because I wake up owning the blanket and she’s cold. I prefer to sleep on a separate bed.
Luckily, they do have twin beds. Their beds too are not those tiny single beds, and their bed foam are thick, plus the pillows are heaven! Their sheets are also clean considering everything in the room are white.
I was wondering from the very beginning why their beds are like floating. So I checked it out, the bed is actually a cement attached to the wall of the villa. Which is totally cool! Just gave me an idea of what I want for my own house – LOL.
The room is also fully air-conditioned and the air-condition is awesome. So cold! Well, if you want it really cold.
The Hotel Bathroom
The bathroom is huge too! I’m not sure though why there’s 2 showers, maybe because there’s twin beds, but actually gave me a dirty thought. LOL
But if you noticed above, it’s the only cons that I have here at the resort. I haven’t really tested but what if I’ll do my deed there, will the other person in the room smell it? The top of the bathroom is open, there’s a possibility but again I haven’t tested it. So I might be totally wrong.
There’s a window though on the bathroom, and the room is fully air-conditioned.
Exotic Philippines Hotel Ratings
When we arrived at the Blue Palawan Beach Club we were greeted and helped by their staff with our bags. Their guard did let the lobby know right away that we’re coming in so that’s a total plus! No need to call for help, they took their initiative. Not to mention their welcome drink also defines who they are, BLUE. Loved it right away!
Blue Palawan Beach Club is I must say one of the best resorts in Puerto Princesa city, and if you ask for my rating, I can give them 4 stars out of 5 stars. But if you ask me if I recommend staying at the resort, totally! It’s worth it!
