Badjao Seafront Restaurant, is a floating and seaside restaurant in Puerto Princesa Palawan. They serve fresh seafood in the restaurant, and Puerto Princesa is known for providing the fresh seafood not only in Palawan but also in Manila. No wonder, they’ve got a great spot, and got a lot of fishes around them.

Anyway, we didn’t ordered all they said to be the best sellers since it’s a bit pricey. But here are the dishes we’ve ordered for our lunch there.

Sizzling Gambas

Sizzling Squid

Eggplant Salad

Grilled Pork

Sinigang
They have different take on their sizzling gambas, it’s a bit more spicey than what it usually is but not too much. Their grilled pork is also too hard and too burned from being grilled.
The restaurant specialize in seafood but they also do have non-seafood dishes. None of the seafood they served or I’ve tried are really that great, but I think as a Cebuano and living in a place where there are a number of good cooks here in Cebu, I have a higher standard when it comes to food.
As for the Badjao Seafront Restaurant itself, though they let us know that they have a lot of customers and a number of orders, I didn’t expect that it will take them an hour for them to finish and serve my orders. Though the customers that they said that are too many are gone they still took a lot of time in serving our orders.
I would’ve not mind waiting if their dish is at least tasteful, but it’s not. We didn’t even finish or ate at least a half of each of our orders though we’re hungry simply because it’s not that great.
A part of my vlog where I tried vlogging with GoPro Hero 5 and test it in field if it looks and sounds great as a vlogging camera. The vlog shows my experience at the restaurant, watch it here.
If you have other option I do suggest to try other restaurants, I’ve got the feeling that they only suggest or some people like the place because of the location and the view.
