Just a couple of months ago I got an item from Tmart for my dogs. I used to have 7 dogs here in Cebu, but when I was still younger it reached to 17 dogs because I can’t let them go. Anyway, it’s getting hotter here and I can’t just let them stay outside the house even though they have a cool place to stay, because they love it more inside the house.
My Mama is diabetic and she developed this allergy to dog hair but she still hug our dogs because she loves them so much, so I need to find a way to lessen the hair shedding of my dogs (especially to my dog Kiara) because Mama is complaining about it too, it’s all over the house.
I’ve actually heard about the product few years back, and you can’t easily find a product like this here in Cebu Philippines. There’s one guy that I found who’s selling it but I have to find his (pet) store which is hours away from my place. So I was happy to find out that I could order it online and have it delivered at my place.
The FURminator
It’s actually like a comb for your pets but the thing is it can remove all the shedding hair into the Furminator so it will not all over your coach, car, or even on your clothes (especially when you’re on your way to work).Usually, you can find it on a pet store but it’s different here in my country that’s why it’s hard to find so I have to get it online via Tmart. Anyway, I took a couple of photos of the product for you, just right when I got it from the post office. So it’s not used yet on the photos below:

The Furminator Review
I wanted to make a video along with this product review but it’s way too hot outside my room to take a video. But I’ve been updating my Instagram on how much my dogs enjoyed it. And Kiara love it the most among all dogs.My dogs are by the way what we call here “AsPins” (Asong Pinoy – Filipino Dog) or what we used to call “AsKal” (Asong Kalye – Street Dog) because they’re mixed dog. So I’m not really sure what their breed is, they’re kind of a super mixed dog.

Kiara sheds the most, and she have a lot of hair so she surely loves it the most and sometimes she seems to ask for it. I enjoyed brushing her using the Furminator because of the way she look, you can really tell she love how it feels like that her shedding hair is being brushed. I think the shedding hair is itchy for them and that’s why they like it when you brush their hair with the furminator.
At first your dog might not like it, don’t force them at first but every day let them try it for at least a minute. Make sure you brush it on the butt area, above the tail, it seems it has a lot of shedding hair there and they love it.
Sometimes I get a huge hair ball from Kiara, bigger than my hand can grab. So imagine it that you’ll either find these hairs all over your house or your clothes, and how it could cause some irritation to you or your whole family, or anyone who have a dog hair allergy.
