Andy Hotel - Experience Elegance and Affordable Stay

The first time I've heard of Andy Hotel Mandaue City Cebu is when I joined and attended the Blogathon last year, and yes I've actually got the chance to go in the hotel without even introducing myself as a Blogger and not even their customer, but as a person who'll be attending an event in their conference room.

From the time I got there, I'm very much impressed with their staff. The guard actually opened the taxi door for me and helped out in finding the conference room. Since their conference room is on the top floor, I got the chance to get a peek of their rooms and facilities, and that is why today we have the elegant and affordable hotel in Mandaue City Cebu, the Andy Hotel as one of our FEATURED BUSINESS here in the blog.

The Andy Hotel

Andy Hotel is actually one of the newest business Hotel in Mandaue City Cebu Philippines who have 71 rooms that are tailored to satisfy guests' needs, a conference room and a roof deck where you could spend some alone time for yourself with a great and colorful view at night. All this making and giving each guest's an elegant and comfortable stay.

The Location

This elegant and business class hotel is located just right in the heart of Mandaue – which is great because it’s just between the Mactan Island (easy access to the airport) and an hour or less (depending on traffic) travel to the Queen city of the south, Cebu City.

I’ve been passing this area for years (way back in college) and today, if you’ll be staying at Andy Hotel Mandaue, you’ll have an easy access not only to other cities but due to its location you’ve got an easy access to the following areas and needs:

Pharmacy - Mercury Drug, Rose Pharmacy, Threesixty Pharmacy
Taxi
Jeepney - because they're just a walk away from the main hi-way.
Fast food - they're near to Jollibee, KFC, Nhohiong House (my favorite and cheap), etc.
Market - it would take about 15 minutes of walk I think. The market is just below the overpass - I used to live in that area for about 4 years.
Bank & ATM - specifically BDO, BPI, Metrobank - there's another bank and I forgot.
Pawnshops - just in case of emergency you might need this. They're just a walk away.
Mini groceries - the Threesixty Pharmacy and Rose Pharmacy
Laundry Services
Spa

The Rooms

All of their rooms do have LCD TVs/plasma screen that has an easy access to the front desk camera, so that when someone wants to visit you in your room, they could easily ask you through calling to your rooms phone and ask if you know the person in the front desk, not only by name but through watching them on a channel that the access is available. Each of their rooms of course has an air conditioning, a daily supply of the daily newspaper, WiFi access, and your other basic needs.

Book Andy Hotel

The room prices stated above may change without prior notice, these are the room price when I got their flyers on their desk. My Mom and sister saw the flyer laying around my desk, and they scolded at me because I didn’t told them that I know about this hotel, they were looking for a hotel for the relative of my brother-in-law (since they’re getting married on that month) and they got them stay at more expensive hotel.

What’s great about their rooms is that if you’ll stay longer in their hotel, like for a month you can get a huge discount and get your room for a lesser price. When I actually went there, one of their staff is talking to their customer who has been staying at their hotel for 3 months already – and that’s how affordable their rooms are.

As for eating in your room, they don’t have any corkage fees even if they have their own coffee shop and restaurant at the ground floor of the building. You can even ask their staff to buy you some foods at the mini grocery or at KFC or Jollibee (which is just walking distance) without any charge.

Mang Cape (Mr. Coffee) – And Hotel’s Coffee Shop

At first, they actually don’t have this coffee shop but due the demands and requests of their customers they made a space for their coffee shop. Though they have few tables, you don’t have to worry, you can call them on your room phone and order your coffee or even some foods in their menu.

I tried their buko pandan cake (I believe it was, it has a green thing on top of it), and it’s pretty delicious. I actually want to go back there to eat but I’m a bit of shy – LOL. There are a lot of choices actually when you visit their Mang Cape, and I actually don’t know what to eat and I asked Ms. Barbie (their hotel Manager) what’s the best they have. I tried their coffee too, it was a Frappuccino and it’s very delicious also.

I grab a copy of their menu at their Mang Cape coffee shop and here are their current menus. Again, the price may change since this is the current one, also they might offer more foods for their customers. But hey, at least you get an idea what you can eat there.
